Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest in the sacred duty of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful during Mass. This ministry is an opportunity to serve the parish community by helping to ensure that the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith, can be received reverently by all. Those who serve in this role are called to a deep faith in the Real Presence of Christ and a genuine love for their fellow parishioners.
