Sacristans make the necessary preparations for Mass, are responsible for the care and upkeep of sacred vessels and the care of the Church. Help is needed for weekday masses as well as weekend masses. Server albs get lots of use, require cleaning every 3 to 4 months and sometimes need repair. Sacristy and altar linens are cleaned on a regular basis. Training is provided for the proper care of washing and ironing sacramental linens.
